Meir 'B' went to Crewe on Wednesday 11th. to play Crewe's' 'C' Team in Division 4.
Despite a draw for Steve Hill on Board 1 and a brilliant win for Tony Cooling on Board 3 the team went down 2.5 to 1.5.
On Friday 13th. Meir 'B' went off to do battle with Cheddleton 'F'.
Steve Hill and Peter Windows prevailed on Boards 1 and 2 but Eddie Burke and Gwyn Price were unable to convert the Draw result into something slightly better. ( A Win!!!).
